System Regeneration Process Summary:

The water softening system operates in a cycle of service and regeneration. During service mode, raw water enters the control valve, flows through the top strainer and resin layers, and exits as softened water.

When switching to regeneration, the handle or multifunctional valve is turned to different positions to execute a series of steps:

  1. 1. Backwash: Water flows upward from the bottom of the tank, loosening resin and removing debris via the drain.

  2. 2. Brine & Slow Rinse: A vacuum effect pulls brine from the salt tank into the resin bed for ion exchange, followed by a slow rinse to flush out spent brine.

  3. 3. Brine Refill: Water refills the brine tank through the injector for the next regeneration.

  4. 4. Fast Rinse: Water flows rapidly through the resin bed to remove any remaining brine.

  5. 5. Return to Service: The valve is rotated back to service mode, and the system resumes normal operation.

Each flow path is precisely managed by the mechanical movement of valve components, ensuring efficient regeneration and reliable softening performance.

When system is in service state,at this moment, raw water flows into control valve through water inlet, from the top of the valve cup to valve body, and through top strainer to tank. Then down through rising layers to be softened water, the bottom strainer to return to rest the pipe and valve core, finally flow out from water outlet.

When starts to regenerate, rotate the handle wheel or multifunctional flow control valve to backwash position, with the change of relative angles of moving disc and fixed disc, the flow channels has been changed.

When system starts to regenerate, raw water flows into control valve through water inlet, from the top of the valve cup through riser pipe to the bottom of the tank, then through bottom strainer to end into tank, under the influence of the water flow, the rising layers has been loosened, the broken rising or dirt flow out from drain outlet.

When backwash is over, rotate the handle or multifunctional flow control valve to brine and slow rinse position, with a change of relative angles of moving disc and fixed disc, the flow channel has been changed again, raw water flows into control valve through water inlet pass valve core to inject inlet, flow quickly to inject outlet, which produces under pressure,so that the brine is ducked from brine tank, through brine line connector to valve, then to the tank, the brine is down through rising layers, the bottom strainer to riser pipe, then upward to valve body, valve core finally out from drain outlet.

After brine sucked, raw water still flow into control valve from inlet, through valve core inject to tank, down through rising layers and bottom strainer, upward raise the pipe to valve core, the flow out form drain outlet, when brine and slowing is over, rotate the handle or multifunctional flow control valve to brine refill position, with the change of relative angles of moving disc and fixed disc,so the flow channel has been changed, raw water flows into control valve through water inlet, some part pass valve core to inject outlet, then into brine tank through brine line connector, the other part pass inject valve body and valve core, then flow out from drain outlet.

When brine reviews is over, rotate the handle or multifunctional flow control valve to fast rings position, with the change of relative angles of moving disc and fixed disc,so the flow channel has been changed, raw water flows into control valve through water inlet, from the top of valve core to valve body, through top strainer to tank, then pass bottom strainer to riser pipe, finally through valve core, the residue brine is discharged from drain outlet, after fasting is over, the whole process of regeneration is finished, rotate handle wire or multifunctional flow control valve to service position, the system and into softening state, the calculation for each operating parameter.

Multi-Layer Media Filter (Anthracite & Sand) for Iron & Sediment Removal

Multi-Media Filter (MMF)

Our Multi-Media Filter (MMF) is a highly efficient water filtration system designed to remove suspended solids, turbidity, and other impurities from water. Unlike single-media filters, MMFs use multiple layers of filtration media—such as sand, anthracite, and gravel—each with varying sizes and densities.

This layered structure allows for superior filtration, increased dirt-holding capacity, and longer operational cycles.

Multi-Media Filters are widely used in industrial, municipal, and commercial water treatment applications, serving as a crucial pre-treatment step for processes like reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). By ensuring cleaner water and reducing maintenance needs, MMFs enhance the overall efficiency of water treatment systems.
