Water Filter Cartridges for Home & Commercial Use 10/20/30/40 Inch Filter Cartridges
Filter Cartridge 50~200μm 10/20/30/40 Inch for Water Treatment Machinery
A water treatment filter cartridge is the core consumable component in water purification systems, designed to remove specific contaminants from water. Common types include: **PP Filter Cartridge** (trapping large particles like rust and sand), **Activated Carbon Filters** (adsorbing chlorine, odors, and organic chemicals), **Ultrafiltration (UF) Membranes** (blocking bacteria and viruses while retaining minerals), and **Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membranes** (removing nearly all impurities, including heavy metals and salts, to produce pure water). Choosing the right cartridge depends on your water quality and needs—RO for safest drinking water, UF for mineral retention, and carbon for taste improvement. **Crucially, all cartridges must be replaced regularly** (typically every 6–24 months) to maintain effectiveness and prevent bacterial growth.
Features of Fitler Cartridge
Filter cartridges are designed to trap and remove physical impurities, chemical contaminants, and biological organisms from water as it passes through:
01
PP Filter Cartridge
➢ Cost-Effective: Low production and replacement costs.
➢ High Dirt Holding Capacity: The deep-layer fibrous structure effectively traps large amounts of suspended solids.
➢ Protects Downstream Filters: Acts as a "pre-filter guard," preventing large particles from clogging and damaging more precise and expensive downstream filters, thereby extending their lifespan.
➢ Safe and Reliable: Made from stable materials with no chemical additives.
02
Activated Carbon Cartridge
➢ Excellent Adsorption: Efficiently adsorbs residual chlorine, colors, odors, some organic compounds, and heavy metals.
➢ Significantly Improves Taste: The key filter for enhancing the taste of drinking water, making it sweeter and more pleasant.
➢ Variety of Types: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), Carbon Block (CTO), Carbon Fiber (ACF), etc., to suit different design needs.
➢ Mature Technology: Widely used with stable performance.
03
Mineralization Cartridge
➢ Adds Beneficial Minerals: Releases essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium ions into purified water.
➢Alkalizes Water: Often raises the pH of water (e.g., from RO systems), producing weakly alkaline water.
➢Improves Taste and Mouthfeel: Minerals enhance the water’s structure and taste, making it smoother and more refreshing compared to pure demineralized water.
➢Potential Health Benefits: Provides trace minerals that contribute to daily dietary intake.
04
Ion Exchange Resin Cartridge
➢ Effective Softening: Efficiently removes calcium and magnesium ions (scale), preventing scale formation.
➢ Targeted Removal: Specially formulated resins can selectively remove nitrates, fluoride, heavy metal ions, etc.
➢ High Specificity: Highly efficient at removing target ions.
05
Composite Cartridge
➢ Integrated Design: Combines multiple filtration media (e.g., PP + Carbon + Scale Inhibitor) into one cartridge, saving space inside the unit.
➢ Easy Installation and Replacement: Users only need to replace one cartridge, simplifying operation and preventing installation errors.
➢ Comprehensive Functionality: Achieves multi-stage filtration in one unit.
06
Quick-Connect Cartridge
➢ Easy Replacement: Requires no special tools or plumbing skills, allowing ordinary users to perform replacements easily, lowering maintenance barriers and costs.
➢ Foolproof Design: Connectors are typically proprietary, allowing installation in only the correct orientation, preventing reverse or incorrect installation.
➢ Good Sealing: Utilizes standardized O-ring seals for secure connections that can withstand system pressure, significantly reducing the risk of leaks.
➢ Enhances User Experience: Simplifies the maintenance process, encouraging users to replace filters on time, thereby ensuring consistent water purification performance.

Applications of Fitler Cartridge
Water treatment filter cartridges are applied for the purification and separation of contaminants from water in residential, commercial, and industrial systems.:
➢ Second Stage: Positioned after the PP filter, primarily to adsorb residual chlorine and chemical pollutants from tap water, protecting downstream membrane elements (chlorine can oxidize and damage RO/UF membranes).
➢ Post-Stage: Positioned after the RO or UF membrane to further adsorb any residual odors and improve the taste of purified water (often called a “post-carbon filter” or “polishing filter”).
➢ Main Function: An essential component in any water purification system where improved drinking water taste is desired.
➢ Water Softener: Serves as the core filtering medium in whole-house water softeners for treating household water (bathing, laundry). The softened water is not for direct drinking. ➢ Drinking Water Systems:
Pre-treatment Stage: Used as an “anti-scale filter” installed before the RO membrane to prevent hard water scaling and membrane clogging. ➢ Post-treatment Stage: Specialized resins are used for the deep removal of specific ionic pollutants (e.g., nitrates) from drinking water.

Multi-Media Filter (MMF)
Our Multi-Media Filter (MMF) is a highly efficient water filtration system designed to remove suspended solids, turbidity, and other impurities from water. Unlike single-media filters, MMFs use multiple layers of filtration media—such as sand, anthracite, and gravel—each with varying sizes and densities.
This layered structure allows for superior filtration, increased dirt-holding capacity, and longer operational cycles.
Multi-Media Filters are widely used in industrial, municipal, and commercial water treatment applications, serving as a crucial pre-treatment step for processes like reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). By ensuring cleaner water and reducing maintenance needs, MMFs enhance the overall efficiency of water treatment systems.
Introduction to Manganese Sand Filter
Manganese Sand Filter (MSF) is an efficient water filtration system specifically designed to remove iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide from water.
The filter utilizes a special manganese dioxide-coated sand media, which acts as an oxidizing agent to convert dissolved iron and manganese into solid particles, allowing them to be easily trapped and removed during the filtration process.
Manganese Sand Filters are commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment applications where high levels of these contaminants are present. By improving water quality, preventing staining, and reducing unpleasant tastes and odors, Manganese Sand Filters provide a reliable and cost-effective solution for maintaining clean, clear, and safe water.
